The Internet is used so much today the number of users just continues to increase! I mean if you really think about it how much of your time is spent on the Internet? The traditional ways of getting the news by newspaper and the t.v are not very popular anymore. Why would you go out and buy a newspaper when you can quickly get online and see the lastest updates with the click of a button?

The Internet is by far the primary source for accessing news. The numbers of users continue to increase each year. A total of over thirty million American get news via the Internet. The reliance of the Internet for news is spiking, for example after 9/11 3% of users said their primary source was the Internet. A year and half later with the war in Iraq, 26% of users were using the Internet for access to the news.

After reading this article I don't see media ever becoming a "tradtional" way like newspaper and t.v because I cant even think about what could be quicker and easier then the Internet. The Internet will just become more and more advanced.
