When you get married a fun tradition is to wear
something old: symbolic of continuity
something new: good luck to the brides future
something borrowed:borrowing something from a happily married wife to carry that happiness to your marriage
something blue: blue means faithfullness, loyality and purity
The past couple of weddings I have gone to , the brides had no idea about this tradition so I figured I would inform people about it because I definently want to wear all these on my wedding day! I have alwways known about this and it surprised me when my friends didnt.. I thought everyone knew about this tradition but I guess not..

I had no idea there was reasoning behind have something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. I thought it was just a cute little rhyme for wedding days. What a great tradition.
